Why Bikes?

When walking is your only option for getting about, life can be hard. People living in rural Africa often walk for miles each day to fetch water, or to get to school or work. A bike can change someone's life.
How we work
Ways you can make a difference

Our fundraisers have done some pretty amazing things to raise money for Re-Cycle. What will you do? Also visit our shop and help us continue our work.
Saturday Bike Sale

Our opening hours are Monday-Friday 8.30am - 4.30pm. We do not open on Bank Holidays. We also open on the last Saturday of the month apart from September and December.
Cycle to School

Many school children living in rural West Africa, have to walk over two hours to get to school each day. This means many children in miss the opportunity to be educated.
Re-Cycle

Our work is funded with donations. Without your gifts we will not be able to send bikes to people in Africa who need them. By supporting Re-Cycle you will be helping us to continue changing lives, one peddle turn at a time.
