Fundraising Trustee Wanted
Re~Cycle's Board of Trustees would like to hear from anyone with significant fundraising experience who is interested in finding out more about becoming a Trustee themselves. The role is voluntary and involves 4 meetings per year, with occasional phone calls and invitations to staff team building days and Christmas parties. Trustees act mainly in an advisory capacity, but take on small tasks from time to time according to their skillset. The Fundraising Trustee will advise the FR team manager and provide a sounding board for visualising the long term strategy of the organisation.
In general, Trustees are collectively responsible for the legal health of a charity and ensuring that its staff team meet all the requirements of the Charity Commission. It can be an immensely rewarding role, personally and professionally. We would love to hear from you if you wish to apply or would like to find out more.
