Youth Offending Teams (YOT) help with preparing bikes, stripping good parts from 'dead' bikes and loading. There are also groups learning bike repair.

Re~Cycle is working with Sustrans' "Bike It", with school children doing a virtual bike ride across Africa. Their cycle to school distance is multiplied and put on a map of Africa, so they gradually cycle from London to Cape Town! Holly is one of the Bike It Officers in London and has been running Tour de Afrique in 6 of her schools. She says "its been such a success - the pupils, staff and even the parents (!) are loving it! I've been running a 'Decorate-Your-Bike-As-An-African-Animal' competition in each school so have attached some pics of the WONDERFUL entries we've had."
