Setting Up And Running Branches Of Re~Cycle

To collect, compact, cannibalise and ship, in towns around the UK.

Spreading The Word

Please tell your friends, families and colleagues about Re~Cycle, especially targeting bike users and bike clubs as cyclists know how great a benefit there will be in lives of their overseas’ recipients. They can get involved in any of the different projects listed below, or donate bikes or parts, spare time, and/or money. Any help will be very gratefully accepted.

Open Volunteer And Internship Positions

Administration: Mail, enquiries, editing, organisation.

Fundraising: Individuals and companies (tax efficient donations), grant making trusts, governments, sponsored rides.

Logistics: Local haulage, moving bikes and parts around the country, storage, organise shipping.

Collection Points: Setting up collection and shipping points around the country; at the moment people are working on; Oxford, Cambridge and Liverpool.

Public Relations: Including media relations, Bike Clubs.

Legal & Accounting admin: Accounting, monitoring, legal matters, charity and company rules and regulations, tax efficient donations.

Trustees: Strategy, contacts, guidance, funding

Web site: Proof reading, web design, graphic design.

Bike Shop Liaison: Setting up regular collection, getting what we need.

Matched Funding: e.g. through the Landfill Tax – contact companies for sponsorship.
