Re~Cycle's site to be THE place to find out about bike reuse projects

So people come to our site and link to it (LCC are looking to use it)

Kept up to date as people can edit it

RESEARCHING + POSTING PROJECTS

FEATURES

  • Show local and international projects (i.e. small groups not shipping)
  • Show what is a Re~Cycle project
  • Google maps, or similar, so people can put in their postcode and find the nearest projects (or a similar function)
  • Say what the projects main features are (disabilities, youth, etc.) -
  • Basic contacts and link to thier site
  • Overview page, with links to country pages?
  • Would also be VERY good to have a thing where people can express an interest in helping set up a Collection Hub - in that if there are 30 people in Cardiff who want to, then worth our getting them in touch with each other  :)

Current status

An early protoype is available at http://www.re-cycle.org/node/154 (you have to be logged in to see it). There's currently a funny bug that shows up on IE, but it displays ok in Firefox.

Later version http://www.re-cycle.org/node/240

Plan is

1) Add remaining data for UK projects

2) Tweak output, and ensure it works in common browers

3) Build into a complete page or set of pages on bike donation
