She's a customer who bought her bike at the Bicycle Empowerment Centre in Okalongo. Michael Linke, founder of BEN Namibia, photographed her when he chanced upon her riding on the road after visiting the BEC.

This was the BEC that David Dewhurst's Rotary club (Bramhall and Woodford) supported, with most of the initial shipment of bikes coming from Re~Cycle. The shop employs HIV/AIDS home based care volunteers from Catholic AIDS Action, with a portion of profits supporting the local orphan feeding programme.
